16 grain transshipment terminals operate on the western border of Ukraine

In some places, these are simply transshipment hubs without storage capacity.

Over the past two years, about three dozen companies have received permits to create railway infrastructure for transshipment terminals near the border. 7 logistics points are already in operation, 12 more are under construction. Such data were announced at the AGRO UKRAINE SUMMIT conference.

The volume of exports of grain and leguminous crops from Ukraine in the 2023/24 FY as of February 28 amounted to 29.14 million tons. This is 2.6 million tons, or 8% less than the similar figure last season.

This is evidenced by the data of the State Customs Service published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
