The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, commenting on Russia's withdrawal from the grain agreement, said that even without the Russian Federation, everything should be done so that Ukraine could use the Black Sea Grain Corridor, writes TTS.
"We had two agreements: Ukraine, Turkey, UN; the other agreement - Russia, Turkey, UN. Therefore, when Russia says that it stops implementing the Black Sea agreements, it breaks its agreements with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan Erdogan. Not with us. We did not have any agreements with them," he said.
Zelensky added that after the official signal from the Russian Federation, he ordered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to prepare official signals to the United Nations and to Turkey, whether they are ready to continue the grain initiative.
"Even without the Russian Federation, everything must be done so that we can use the Black Sea corridor. We are not afraid. The companies that are the owners of the ships approached us. They said that they are ready, if Ukraine lets go and Turkey allows, then everyone is ready to continue grain supply," the president concluded.
