The European company "Ukrzaliznytsia" will provide a complex of international transportation services.
UZ Cargo Poland will provide international transportation services in Romania and Poland.
According to him, the UZ Cargo Poland company will provide a complex of services for international transportation, which includes: payment of the railway tariff on the territory of Romania and Poland and freight forwarding by wagons outside of Ukraine.
Tkachev added that UZ Cargo Poland has the opportunity to provide wagons at a cost lower than that set for foreign carriers (under a separate agreement).
In addition, the provision of a comprehensive service for the transportation of goods abroad has already begun (payment of the transportation tariff + use of UZ wagons).
We will remind, TTS wrote that in July "Ukrzaliznytsia" and Polish Railways (PKP S.A.) announced plans to create a joint freight forwarder company that will carry cargo from Ukraine to Poland and European countries. As the president of PKP S.A. Krzysztof Maminskyi said then, the joint venture will be responsible for the transportation of goods from Ukraine, the organization of the entire supply chain and transportation to the recipient.
It was noted that this could become one of the ways to solve the problems that arose after the Russian blockade of Ukrainian ports and, as a result, the reorientation of exports to the West, in particular to Poland.
