"Ukrzaliznytsia" increased to 190 km per day the estimated speed for the transportation of the company's fitting platforms in the export connection in January and February 2023, reports Rail.insider.
From January 1 to February 28, 2023, the size of the indicator "Average speed of transportation of the Carrier's own wagon in one day (km/day) Vsr" for the Carrier's own fitting platforms in export connections through land crossings (together with the port of Reni) as part of a route or container train is set at the level of 190 km per day," says the message of the "Transport Logistics Center" Branch of "Ukrzaliznytsia".
In addition, since January 1, the amount of the actual fee rate for the use of 26 Ukrzaliznytsia's own universal platforms transferred to the operational management of the branch of the Central Railway Station "Lisky" has been changed. The rest of the rates remained unchanged.
Earlier, Ukrzaliznytsia made changes to the Agreement on the provision of services for the organization of cargo transportation by rail, increasing the estimated speed for fitting platforms to 114 km per day in December 2022. Before that, the average speed for fitting platforms in the export connection through land crossings was assumed to be 69 km per day.
