By 2024, Ukraine and Azerbaijan have agreed on: an 88% increase in universal permits for each country; the possibility of exchanging permits separately for transit transportation; issuing permits for non-regular transportation of passengers by road," the press service said.
In total, the carrier quota for next year will be 11,550 permits per country. Of them: 6,000 — universal, 5,000 — transit, 500 — for transportation to and from third countries, 50 — universal permits for passenger transportation.
In addition, a decision was made to exchange this year's universal quota of permits in the amount of 2,000 pieces.
During the meeting of the commission, MIU also initiated the possibility of liberalization of international freight transportation between Ukraine and Azerbaijan. The parties will study the possibility of introducing such a mechanism and provide an answer within the framework of the work of the Joint Commission.
