A stable rhythmicity of the passage of trucks at the "Yagodin" checkpoint was achieved

The constant monitoring of queues of vehicles on both sides of the western section of the border, conducted by the State Customs Service, records a significant reduction in the number of goods waiting to leave Ukraine in front of the international road crossing point "Yagodin - Dorogusk". In particular, as of today, October 18, this queue consists of 150 heavy trucks with a total weight of more than 7.5 tons, which is 20 times less than the peak loads in September.

The trend of minimizing the waiting time for Ukrainian exports to cross the border has been going on for almost a month and was achieved thanks to joint Ukrainian-Polish intergovernmental agreements. They were aimed at expanding the carrying capacity of goods that require phytosanitary, veterinary or other types of state control. In the first half of October, compared to the same period in September, the number of missed vehicles increased by 52 percent. Export registrations ranged from 206 to 349, import - from 282 to 443 trucks per shift (12 hours).

That is, drivers who are waiting for a pass through "Yagodin-Dorogusk" today, provided that the customs rules are clearly observed and the controlling authorities of Ukraine or Poland have no reason to refuse the pass, will be able to continue their flight to Europe on the date of arrival at the checkpoint.

Steady overcoming of "traffic jams" in the freight direction of road traffic through "Yagodin - Dorogusk" will eventually allow to review the restrictions on passenger transportation adopted in June of this year.
