"In order to provide a legal basis for its actions, under the pretext of carrying out measures for combat training of the fleet and aviation, a warning was sent to close the zone of maritime space in a wide strip from the Kerch Strait, skirting the coast of the occupied Crimea approximately to Cape Tarkhankut and from it to the mouth of the Danube" , - the message says.
The specified area was "closed" for the period from 21:00 on December 31, 2023 to 21:00 on March 31, 2024, i.e. for 3 months.
It will be recalled that on December 28, a civilian vessel under the flag of Panama was detonated by an enemy sea mine in the Black Sea. The bulker was on its way to one of the Danube ports to be loaded with grain.
