JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" is implementing two pilot projects:

Pilot project #1.#Transportation Routing

The main goal is to increase the percentage of freight transportation routing by rail. As part of the project:

UZ provides the opportunity to accumulate route trains on station tracks for public use for 24 hours for free!

24 hours - free "technological time" for accumulating wagons.

The possibility of increasing the "technological time" to 48 hours is being considered.

Pilot project #2: #SludgeCarsAtStationsUZ

JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" has increased the number of stations where the service with the sludge of empty freight wagons is provided!

In total, the service is already provided at 87 railway stations (previously 71). The approximate capacity of the station tracks is 7,177 conventional wagons!

Currently, almost 44% of the allocated tracks for sludge are already occupied! There are approximately 3,000 thousand wagons in the backlog, of which grain wagons (GW) make up 93%!

The Central Railway Transport Branch of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia continues the contract campaign to sign long-term contracts for the use of the wagon fleet of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia in 2025!
