The Railways of Moldova will not revise the train formation plan. This was discussed during the online meeting of representatives of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" with carriers of Romania and Moldova on October 15.
The deputy director of the department of transport technology and commercial work of UZ Valery Tkachev reminded that earlier Ukrzaliznytsia had turned to the railways of Moldova with a proposal to consider the possibility of changing the train formation plan and delivering some goods not through the Kuchurgan-Novosavitska crossing, but through the Serpneve-1-Basarabiaska junction. However, the company recently received a refusal from the Railways of Moldova. "Unfortunately, this pushes away customers who are ready to transport transit cargo through the territory of Moldova," noted Valery Tkachev. As previously reported, the volume of transit through the territory of Moldova in August amounted to 13,000 tons of cargo.
