Representatives of the Odesa branch of SE "AMPU" were trained in the use of skimmers and V-shaped systems for collecting pollutants.
The European Maritime Safety Agency will provide the Odesa branch of SE "AMPU" with specialized equipment for the localization and elimination of pollution in the Black Sea.

It is noted that representatives of the Odesa branch took part in training from leading developers of environmental protection equipment for pollution elimination. In the training process, the rules of using skimmers and V-shaped systems for collecting pollutants were demonstrated.
"In the future, this knowledge will make it possible to effectively use the equipment that will be provided by the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) for the high-quality elimination of pollution in the Black Sea," the message reads.
In March 2023, the Seaports Administration of Ukraine and the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) signed an Agreement on the free transfer of specialized equipment for elimination of pollution in the water areas of seaports of Ukraine.
