As part of preparations for the launch of NCTS Phase 5, the State Customs Service implemented the possibility of submitting transit declarations through the "One Window"
The State Customs Service of Ukraine is implementing a new integration platform "Single Window - EAIS - NCTS", which is a significant achievement in simplifying customs procedures and bringing it closer to European standards.
The possibility of submitting transit declarations is implemented in the Personal account on the "One-stop shop for international trade" portal. The IT solution for submitting transit declarations through the "Single window" implements a number of intuitive functions, including the possibility of creating a T1 declaration from export declarations, selecting the optimal route and the corresponding transit customs, searching for the destination customs closest to the recipient, the possibility of machine translation of product names into Ukrainian from the official languages of the countries participating in the Convention on the common transit procedure and vice versa, etc.
With the full launch of the system, it will be possible to submit transit declarations even from a mobile phone. All this will significantly facilitate the process of filling out transit declarations, optimize logistics and speed up customs clearance. Such opportunities will provide an unprecedented level of convenience and mobility for all participants in the transit process.
In addition to the ability to submit transit declarations through the "Single Window" business, options for submitting the declaration through the Trader's Portal and brokerage software will also be available.
Information on access to the test environment of the Trader's Portal and methodological recommendations for filling out transit declarations on the portal will be published by the State Customs Service in the near future.
The implementation of various options for submitting transit declarations to NCTS Phase 5 is an important element of ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the transit system, promoting international trade and implementing the customs service function.
