Online meeting of the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine with the head of the Club of Japanese Entrepreneurs in Ukraine
On October 6, an online meeting was held with the participation of Gennady Chyzhikov, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine / Ukrainian CCI, Mr. Toru Ota, Chairman of the Club of Japanese Entrepreneurs in Ukraine (Sumitomo Corporation), Ukrainian and Japanese diplomats, the official representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine in Japan Kostyantyn Tkachev and representatives of Japanese corporations, including #Marubeni and #Mitsubishi Corporation
Gennady Chyzhikov thanked Japan for its support of Ukraine and interest in cooperation.
Pre-war trade with Japan showed stable positive dynamics. And went by sea. The war, the blockade of Ukrainian ports, the transformation of the Ukrainian and world economy require a rethinking of the goals and priorities of cooperation.
"Japan is already showing support for the Ukrainian cause: our products, previously presented on the Japanese market, will appear in the Duty Free network at the country's airports! It is a symbolic gesture of support. It was agreed that the TPP will assist Japanese companies in the relocation of production. And we will help Ukrainian campaigns with the search for partners and promotion in Japan," said G. Chyzhikov.
We have agreed with Japanese partners to hold joint events for business in the near future.
