One of the terminals of "Nibulon" on the Dnieper has resumed work with water transport

"Nibulon" partially resumed river transportation on the Middle Dnieper. In particular, the reception of grain from water transport is carried out by the company's branch in Kremenchuk.

In particular, he informed that in the fall of 2022, the work of all river enterprises of the company located in the territories controlled by Ukraine was resumed. This includes the terminals on the left bank of the Dnieper, which already receive grain from the Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions.

"The only river terminal of ours, which carries out shipments to both waterways and railways, is the Kremenchug branch. Currently, this is a kind of central transshipment hub of our company, which accepts grain from water transport - we have resumed transportation on the Middle Dnieper, where it is transshipped in wagons," said Serhiy Kalkutin.

He added that under the current conditions, the nearest railway stations are used to ensure the operation of the river terminals. River branches are currently not at 100% loading, but some are showing "decent results".

Serhii Kalkutin also reported that the Holopristan and Kamian-Dnipro branches of "Nibulon" are currently under temporary Russian occupation. Voznesensk and Novoodeshka branches are limited in shipping by water. And the enterprise in Kozatskyi was actually destroyed.

We will remind that according to the results of the first quarter of 2023, the company "Nibulon" sent 655 thousand tons of agricultural products for export. In terms of cargo nomenclature, 341,000 tons of corn, 270,000 tons of wheat, 28,000 tons of barley, and 16,000 tons of other crops were exported in 3 months of 2023.
