Meeting of the Committee on Transport and Infrastructure

 

On October 8, a meeting of the Committee on Transport and Infrastructure was held.

According to the agenda, the people's deputies considered and adopted a number of decisions:

• to adopt in the second reading and as a whole the draft law on improving the procedure for carrying out wholesale and retail trade in vehicles by business entities registered with the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (No. 9083);

• to reject the draft Law on recognizing as invalid the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On unification of state enterprises of transport and road management" (No. 11224);

• reject the draft Law on Amendments to Article 257 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses regarding the sending of a report to a person who is subject to administrative liability (No. 10280);

People's deputies also considered the draft Law on Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine on Improving the Organizational and Legal Bases of Intelligence and Counter-Intelligence Activities (No. 7380) and alternative draft laws No. 7380-1, 7380-2, 7380-3.

According to the results of the discussion within the competence, it was recommended to remove from the texts of these draft laws the changes to Art. 17 of the Law of Ukraine "On Postal Communications", taking into account that on November 3, 2022, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a new version of the Law of Ukraine "On Postal Communications" (No. 2722), which already contains the proposed changes.
