Meeting of the Committee on Transport and Infrastructure
On May 2, 2023, a meeting was heldof the Committee on Transport and Infrastructure with the participation of Serhiy Derkach, Deputy Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure, representatives of the Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure, the State Agency for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Police, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy, the State Geocadastre.
Members of the People's Deputies of Ukraine - members of the Committee considered, discussed and made decisions regarding draft laws:
- on making changes to some legislative acts of Ukraine regarding the use of the right-of-way of public highways by business entities (registration no. 7696 dated 08/25/2022) - to return to the entity the right of legislative initiative for revision;
- on amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Ensuring the Rights and Freedoms of Internally Displaced Persons" regarding the introduction of free travel for internally displaced persons during the period of martial law (reg. No. 8020 dated 12.09.2022) - based on the results of the review, accept as a basis;
- on amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On the Status of War Veterans, Guarantees of Their Social Protection" regarding clarification of the categories of persons who belong to war veterans and family members of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine (reg. No. 9126 dated 03.20.2023) - to return to the subject the rights of the legislative initiative for revision;
- on amendments to Article 265-4 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses regarding the prohibition of temporary detention of vehicles by parking inspectors during the legal regime of martial law or a state of emergency (reg. No. 9092 dated 10.03.2023) - to reject;
- on amendments to the Code of Ukraine on administrative offenses regarding the powers of parking inspectors in the field of road safety (registration No. 9092-1 dated 03/27/2023) - to reject;
- on making changes to the Code of Administrative Offenses regarding regulation of the field of operation of road transport (reg. No. 9092-2 dated 03/27/2023) – to reject;
- on making changes to the Code of Ukraine on administrative offenses regarding the powers of parking inspectors in the field of ensuring road traffic safety (reg. No. 9092-3 dated 03/27/2023) - based on the results of the review, accept as a basis.
