International forum "Ukrainian business under martial law. Possibilities, needs, realities"

 

International forum "Ukrainian business under martial law. Opportunities, needs, realities", organized by UNK MTP on October 7, 2022. The work of the forum was opened by John Denton, Secretary General of the ICC from the headquarters in Paris, who highly appreciated the work of the ICC Ukraine and expressed readiness to restore Ukraine and build Ukrainian business based on the principles of European and world standards through joint efforts.

The first panel of the forum "International experience of successful business. Road map". International partners contributed to the signing of an agreement on transport corridors from the south of Ukraine, in particular, Odesa and Black Sea ports. Oleg Isaakovich Platonov, Vice President of ICC Ukraine for simplification of trade, transport and customs procedures, company PLASKE (Odesa), gave an assessment of the prospects of this process.

The speaker of the panel was Gulyaev Vasyl Oleksandrovych, Chairman of the Black Sea City Council of Odesa District, Odesa Oblast.

Speaker of the first panel of the International Forum, Dmytro Lutsenko, deputy secretary of the National Investment Council, an advisory body under the President of Ukraine/ National Investment Council of Ukraine. This is a platform of the highest level in promoting dialogue between business, international investors and official state authorities in Ukraine.

2nd panel of the International Forum "Ukrainian business under martial law. Possibilities, needs, realities", moderators: Oleksandr Anatoliyovych Mashinichenko, Vice-President of ICC Ukraine for Expertise and Expert Legal Support and Oleksienko Dmytro Volodymyrovych, Vice-President of ICC Ukraine for Taxation, Accounting and Audit, topic - Financing and audit of reconstruction of Ukraine. Roman Vashchuk, business ombudsman, former Canadian ambassador to Ukraine, spoke at the International Forum. During his tenure, Ukraine gained powerful promotion in the world. Based on the experience gained, Roman Vashchuk gave a comprehensive analysis of the state and prospects of Ukrainian business and answered the questions of the forum participants.
