
Despite the fact that at present the use of electronic waybills for freight transportation in Ukraine is carried out on a voluntary basis, companies can already move to reorganizing their business processes for the use of e-TTN.
First, it will speed up the company's adaptation and will not create obstacles for doing business when the electronic TTN completely replaces the paper one. Secondly, as the experience of representatives of the Ukrainian market shows, abusethe existence of e-TTN already significantly saves the financial and time resources of the company, although for transportation it is still necessary to have one copy of the paper TTN in case of inspection by an inspector of the State Transport Safety Service (DSBT).

• Choosing an EDO provider
The transition to e-TTN is possible only through cooperation with the EDO provider. In fact, the provider is a conductor between the government initiative and the business itself.
The choice of provider depends on the needs and requests of your company. Usually, it is worth analyzing the capabilities of the provider for the readiness of the software solution to close the necessary business processes - direct deliveries, internal transportation, cross-docking, etc.
It should be taken into account that if the company already has experience working with a certain provider, for example in electronic document management, it will be more convenient for it to establish cooperation regarding e-TTN with this particular provider.

• Connection to the service of the selected provider
You can use the provider's service through the web interface or API integration. For more detailed information about connection and further integration, you should contact the chosen provider.
The EDO provider provides the client company with the necessary software for electronic document management. His work is aimed at expert support at every stage of the transition from paper to electronic document management without stopping business.
• Setting up business processes together with the provider
Together with the EDO provider, your company configures its business processes to use the electronic form of TTN and has the opportunity to test the system, consider practical cases according to its specific needs and work out its own mistakes.
An important point for business is that the use of e-TTN is completely free for the testing period.
What to pay attention to when choosing an EDO provider?
• what business processes need to be changed in your company to switch to e-TTN (direct supplies, internal transportation, cross-docking, etc.);
• which type of access to the services of the EDO provider is more suitable for you (web interface or integration with the accounting system via API);
• whether the provider can provide you with the necessary functionality (for speeding up accounting transactions, closing the delivery and receiving payment for goods/services, receiving information about quantitative and/or qualitative discrepancies upon acceptance, etc.);
• how the provider will be able to provide simple and convenient work for your employees (storekeepers, drivers, accountants, etc.).
The implementation of the e-TTN system is carried out by the Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the USAID / UK Aid project "Transparency and Accountability in Public Administration and Services / TAPAS" and with the participation of the NGO "Institute of Analytics and Advocacy", which for the period implementation of the project is the administrator of the e-TTN system.
