A feeder container ship was launched between the ports of Izmail and Constanta
Feeder container transportation, which has been carried out since the end of 2022 between the Romanian port of Constanta and the Ukrainian port of Reni, has been extended to the port of Izmail since March 2023. This was reported by the press service of "Iteris" company.
Another port of Ukraine is open for container delivery. The T-Moon container feeder, operated by our company, made its first flight to the port of Izmail," the press service said.
The schedule of ship calls involves arriving at each port on average once a week - the round trip is about 6-8 days.
The service is open for receiving containers of Arkas, ZIM, Maersk, Hapag-Lloyd, SMA and other lines. It is noted that the containers are in transit mode, that is, there is no need to issue transit customs documentsin the port of Constanta.
In the port of Izmail, transshipment is carried out at the facilities of the SE "Izmail Sea Trade Port".
At the beginning of March, Maersk announced the resumption of cargo bookings directly to Ukraine.
