Almost 1,000 grain wagons more than a week ago - 6,662 units - are currently heading to the seaports of Ukraine. Such data was made public by the deputy director of the department of commercial work of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" Valery Tkachev.
An increase in the number of wagons with grain moving in the direction of the ports of Greater Odessa, from 5746 to 6662 wagons, is recorded.
During the week, the volume of daily unloading of wagons with grain in the ports of Greater Odessa fluctuates in the range of 900-1050 wagons per day.
The average daily figure is 923 cars per day. Over the last week, it has increased by 18 units.
The queue of wagons with grain in the direction of the port of Izmail increased by three units - from 283 to 286 wagons. At the same time, the unloading rate decreased by two units - to 49 wagons per day.
"Difficulties remain in delivering cargo to the ports of Great Odesa and removing empty wagons due to infrastructure restrictions (limited capacity of the Podilsk - Rozdilna - Odesa-Zastava section) and the general increase in cargo flow in the direction of the ports of Great Odesa (agricultural cargo, MMC cargo and others move at the same time) Therefore, the total processing capacity of port stations has been adjusted in accordance with provof the capacity of the network at the Podilsk-Rozdilna section," Tkachev noted.
In addition, the volume of transfers of wagons with grain through the western border crossings is increasing.
Currently, the most amount is transferred to Romania - 98.4 wagons with grain per day. This is 3.4 units more than a week earlier.
Transmission through Ukrainian-Polish crossings increased by 2.5 wagons. 92.5 wagons cross the border every day.
The volume of grain transfer to Slovakia increased by six wagons - up to 52.4 units per day. At the same time, 43.2 wagons per day go to Hungary (compared to last week, the increase is two wagons).
