CUSTOMS 2025: BUSINESS SPOKE OUT THE MAIN CHALLENGES AND EXPECTATIONS

On April 9, a public discussion “Customs Procedures in Ukraine During the War: Business Assessments and Expectations in 2025” was held, organized by the NGO “Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting” (IER). The UKRZOVNISHTRANS Association joined the discussion to keep abreast of key changes.

 

What was discussed?

 

During the event, the results of a recent study were presented on how Ukrainian entrepreneurs assess the work of customs during martial law and on the path to EU integration. The speakers focused on:

• The current state of customs services and bureaucratic obstacles.

• Forecasts for simplifying procedures in 2025.

• Steps necessary for the full harmonization of Ukrainian legislation with the EU Customs Code.
