The government adopted a resolution approving the new experimental project eCherga.
In particular, the new eCherga project improves the issue of forming a priority queue and will now take into account the presence of AEO authorizations at enterprises when moving goods in the direction of departure from Ukraine. These changes will allow the business to fully experience the advantage, which consists in the priority fulfillment of customs formalities at the checkpoint, thus avoiding delays at the border and speeding up logistics processes and related costs.
We remind you that the AEO is a special status that certifies a high degree of trust of the customs authorities in the business entity and gives it the opportunity to enjoy advantages and simplifications. To date, 71 Ukrainian companies have received the status of authorized economic operator.
For enterprises that will move goods under the terms of the Convention on the Common Transit Procedure and the Customs Convention on the International Carriage of Goods using the TIR carnet, there is also the possibility of inclusion in the priority queue.
We will remind that the Customs Service has already organized separate lanes and workplaces marked "AEO/NCTS/MDP" at the largest border crossing points for the priority clearance of such cargoes.
Currently, measures are being taken to establish information interaction between the State Customs Service and the Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure to ensure the possibility of taking into account in the e-Queue information about the availability of AEO status at enterprises, as well as the movement of goods under transit declarations T1.
