Three times more grain shipments were sent for export.
According to the results of work in October 2024, operators of Ukrainian sea ports shipped 1.4 million tons of ore cargoes and 5 million tons of grain for export.
According to TTS, Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development Timur Tkachenko reported this.
He specified that, in general, stevedores of working Ukrainian ports handled 8 million tons of cargo last month. "Which is 60% more than last year's figures for the same period. Let me remind you that in September 7.178 million tons of cargo were handled by sea ports of Ukraine," the official said.
We will remind that during January-October 2024, 82.2 million tons of cargo were processed in domestic ports, which is almost twice as much as the indicators of the same period in 2023 (46.1 million tons).
