
"Ukrzaliznytsia" renegotiated international transportation contracts with 27 companies from the EU
JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" has renegotiated contracts on the organization of international transportation through land border crossings in 2023 with 27 companies from EU countries and Moldova, Deputy Director of the Department of Commercial Work of UZ Valery Tkachev said.
The largest number of UZ partners from the number of carrier companies work in Poland - 11 companies. In second place is Romania (6 carriers). In Hungary, UZ will cooperate with 5 companies, in Slovakia - with 3 carriers. In addition, contracts have been concluded with the national railway transport operators of Bulgaria and Moldova.
The list includes both local enterprises and subsidiaries of large multinational carriers: DB Cargo, ÖBB Rail Cargo, PKP Cargo, Captrain, LTG Cargo, etc.
As Tkachev noted, this is currently a preliminary list. "We are working with all those who want to work as foreign carriers," he added.
