THE STATE UNIVERSITY OF TRADE AND ECONOMICS (SUTE) HAS CELEBRATED ITS 80TH ANNIVERSARY!

SUTE is a long-standing, reliable partner in training highly qualified professionals for the fields of international trade, logistics, and foreign economic activity. Despite the difficult security conditions caused by the full-scale war, constant shelling, and the challenges of the present day, the university continues to maintain a leading position in Ukrainian higher education, implementing innovations and fostering active international cooperation.
Anniversary celebrations took place over two days in a hybrid format (both in-person and online):
•    On October 13, a formal gathering of the university community was held, during which researchers, faculty members, and staff were honored with awards.
•    On October 14, the university opened its doors to strategic partners, business stakeholders, and long-time friends to outline new prospects for collaboration.
The anniversary brought together leaders from both the public and corporate sectors. The celebrations were attended by representatives from the Office of the President of Ukraine, government officials, heads of key state agencies (the Accounting Chamber, the Ministry of Education and Science, ARMA, and the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War), as well as academicians from the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine.
Special attention was also given to representatives from the international diplomatic community, financial institutions, and leading business associations. Oleg Isaakovych Platonov, President of the "UKRZOVNISHTRANS" Association and First Vice-President of the Ukrainian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Ukraine), personally attended the event.
Other distinguished guests included:
•    Representatives from the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus and the Embassy of Italy in Ukraine;
•    Volodymyr Shchelkunov (President of ICC Ukraine) and Tetiana Savosko (Executive Director of ICC Ukraine);
•    Representatives from the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Kyiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry;
•    Heads of leading banking institutions (JSC Oschadbank, JSC Sense Bank, TASCOMBANK, ProCredit Bank);
•    Representatives of major retail chains and international companies.
In his address, Anatolii Mazaraki, Rector of SUTE (State University of Trade and Economics), emphasized that the university’s strength lies in the unity of its extended family—which includes 10 separate structural units across Ukraine. Even during air raid alerts, as they move to shelters, the SUTE team continues to launch new, relevant educational programs and implement large-scale projects aimed at developing future generations of professionals.
The "UKRZOVNISHTRANS" Association, led by Oleg Platonov, extends its sincere congratulations to the leadership, faculty, and students of SUTE on this significant milestone! We take pride in our synergy and joint projects, and we are confident that the university’s graduates will continue to reach new heights in both the Ukrainian and international business arenas.
