UKRZOVNISHTRANS PARTICIPATES IN THE ICC UKRAINE GALA RECEPTION

We are pleased to announce that an official gala reception took place, dedicated to Ukrainian Entrepreneur Day, the 35th anniversary of Ukraine's Independence, and the 28th anniversary of the Ukrainian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Ukraine). Held under the slogan "Ukrainian Business. Partnership. The Future," the event brought together domestic business leaders, government officials, the diplomatic corps, and leading experts.
Oleg Isakovych Platonov, President of the UKRZOVNISHTRANS Association and First Vice President of ICC Ukraine, actively participated in the event.
The reception focused on the results of business operations under martial law and the formulation of a joint strategy for post-war economic recovery. Representatives of the UKRZOVNISHTRANS Association and the ICC Ukraine expert community highlighted priority tasks for the transport and freight forwarding sector, including:
•    Development and security of transport corridors: integrating the Ukrainian transport network into the European TEN-T corridors and ensuring the uninterrupted operation of export-import routes.
•    Digitalization and simplification of customs procedures: implementing innovative tools to expedite border crossings, harmonizing Ukrainian customs legislation with EU norms, and further developing the Common Transit System (NCTS) and the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) status. •    Supply chain resilience: adapting logistics infrastructure to wartime challenges and attracting international investment to modernize port, rail, and road terminals.
The event’s official proceedings were opened by Volodymyr Shchelkunov, President of ICC Ukraine, who emphasized the fundamental role of Ukrainian business as a pillar of the state during times of immense hardship. In keeping with tradition, the event began with a minute of silence, during which attendees honored the memory, courage, and heroism of the soldiers who fell fighting for Ukraine’s freedom, as well as all civilians who lost their lives due to Russia’s armed aggression.
The participation of our Association’s leadership in events of this caliber underscores the transport and logistics sector’s pivotal role in ensuring the state’s economic resilience and forging international partnerships for Ukraine’s future.
